Accounting & ERP Software for UAE Businesses
Last reviewed: By Kenobiz Solutions editorial team2 min read
To comply with UAE e-invoicing, you need two things: software that produces structured e-invoices in the official PINT AE format, and an accredited service provider (ASP) that sends them to your customer's ASP over the Peppol network and reports the tax data to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). Some software vendors are accredited ASPs themselves; others connect to one. Choosing the right software is therefore as important as choosing the ASP.

The guides below compare the options for UAE businesses using the same criteria: official ASP status on the Ministry of Finance (MoF) list, public price in AED, target users, inventory and multi-company features, Arabic invoices, local support and total cost over three years.
- Best accounting software →Eight accounting tools compared on UAE criteria (VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing ASP status, Arabic, WPS payroll), with AED cost examples and our pick by profile.
- Best ERP software →Eight ERP systems compared for UAE SMEs: e-invoicing route (native or via an ASP), 3-year cost logic, localisation and how to choose an implementation partner.
- E-invoicing software →Which software can issue UAE e-invoices, which vendors are accredited ASPs, and what each option costs, checked against the official list.
- Odoo vs Zoho Books →An honest Odoo vs Zoho Books comparison for the UAE: who each one suits, e-invoicing status, Zoho Books AED pricing, three-year cost logic and migration.
- Software finder →Six questions: your e-invoicing deadlines and three software options for your size, activity and current tool.
Where should you start?
- You only need to issue invoices. Start with the best accounting software in the UAE. Odoo with invoicing and accounting, Zoho Books and Wafeq all fit a small business.
- You manage stock, purchasing or several companies. Read our guide to ERP software in the UAE; an accounting tool alone may not cover these needs.
- You are choosing between two common options. Our Odoo vs Zoho Books comparison sets out when each one fits.
- You want to keep your current software. Check whether it is accredited or connects to an accredited ASP. The official list of accredited service providers shows 65 accredited providers (consulted on 10 October 2026).
Is this site neutral about Odoo?
This site is published by Kenobiz Solutions LLC, an Odoo partner. We cover Odoo in detail in our guide to Odoo in the UAE, but we recommend it only when the profile fits: from a single freelancer to around 200 users, when needs go beyond invoicing or growth is planned. When your current software already covers your needs, we say so. Our method is explained in how we compare software.
Odoo is a trademark of Odoo S.A.
