About the UAE E-Invoicing Hub
The UAE E-Invoicing Hub is a free information site about mandatory e-invoicing in the United Arab Emirates, with practical guides on VAT, Corporate Tax and the software that makes compliance work. It is published by Kenobiz Solutions LLC, an Odoo partner based in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai. We say this first because it matters when you read our software comparisons.
Who publishes this site?
Kenobiz Solutions LLC is a company licensed in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai. We implement Odoo, an open-source business management software, for companies in the UAE (our guide to Odoo in the UAE describes it). We earn money when a business hires us to set up Odoo. The guides on this site are free and carry no advertising. Our name appears in the footer of every page and on every comparison, so you know who is writing before you decide how much to trust it. Our services are described on kenobiz.ae.
Why does this site exist?
Because the deadlines are close and practical guidance for small businesses is thin. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an accredited service provider (ASP) by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. Everyone below that threshold must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has said no further extensions will be granted. The full calendar is in our guide to the UAE e-invoicing deadlines.
The official texts are precise but written for specialists, and much of what is published online comes from vendors who sell one product. According to the MoF, 82% of UAE businesses are micro businesses with less than AED 3 million in annual turnover; few have a finance team that can turn a ministerial decision into a project plan. We built this site to answer the three questions a business owner actually has: does this apply to me, which ASP and software do I need, and what do I do first?
Who writes the guides?
The guides are written and reviewed by the editorial team of Kenobiz Solutions. The team is led by the company's founder, who has 28 years of experience in IT and is a Prosci-certified change management practitioner. That second point matters more than it sounds: e-invoicing changes how people in finance, sales and purchasing work every day, not only which software they use.
The team works in English and French. To our knowledge, Kenobiz is the only French Odoo partner in the UAE, which is why the site also has a French section for French-speaking business owners.
Some drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools. Every date, amount and decision number is checked against the official text before publication. Our editorial policy explains how.
How do we stay objective?
We cover every solution on the market, not only Odoo. Each product is compared against the same criteria: official ASP status on the MoF list, public price in AED, target users, inventory and multi-company features, Arabic invoices, local support and total cost over three years. The method is published in how we compare software, and all our comparisons are gathered in our software guides.
We recommend Odoo by explicit criteria: businesses that need more than invoicing (inventory, purchasing, CRM, several companies, e-commerce) or plan to grow, from a single freelancer to around 200 users. For a freelancer or a micro-business that only invoices, we present Odoo and accredited tools such as Zoho Books side by side, and if your current software already covers your needs, we say so. Our Odoo vs Zoho Books comparison sets out the differences. Kenobiz also works with businesses that use other software, such as Zoho Books, on their e-invoicing readiness.
We also report Odoo's ASP status exactly as it stands on the official list:
No software vendor or ASP pays to be listed, ranked or reviewed on this site.
How do we keep the facts current?
- Official sources first. Every regulatory figure comes from the MoF, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) or u.ae, with a link and a date in the Sources section of each page.
- "Last reviewed" date. Each page shows when it was last checked in full against its sources.
- Weekly ASP list check. We compare our directory of accredited service providers with the MoF list every week. The list consulted on 10 October 2026 had 65 accredited providers.
- News the day it changes. When the MoF or the FTA publishes a new decision, we update the guides and summarise the change in UAE e-invoicing and tax news.
What does the AI assistant do?
The AI assistant answers questions about UAE e-invoicing, VAT and Corporate Tax in your language. It works from our guides and the official texts and cites its sources. When it suggests software, it says that this site is published by an Odoo partner. It can make mistakes, so check important points against the official sources.
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. Everything on this site is general information. For your specific situation, speak to an FTA-registered tax agent. Our disclaimer sets out the limits.
How can you reach us?
Use the contact form for questions, corrections or a free 30-minute call about your software options. We reply within one business day, in English or French. If you only want to know where you stand, the e-invoicing readiness check takes two minutes; our other free compliance tools are listed on one page.
