Odoo Demo in Dubai: See Odoo on Your Own Invoices
Last reviewed: By Kenobiz Solutions editorial team3 min read
See Odoo working on your own business before you decide. In a 30-minute demo, a French- and English-speaking Odoo partner in Dubai rebuilds three of your real invoices in Odoo with UAE VAT, walks you through credit notes and the e-invoicing flow through an accredited service provider (ASP), and tells you honestly whether Odoo fits.
The demos are run by Kenobiz Solutions, the Odoo partner that publishes this site (about us).
Key facts
- 30 minutes, in English or French.
- 3 of your own invoices rebuilt in Odoo with 5% VAT, including a credit note.
- A fixed quote within 48 hours after the demo, if Odoo fits.
- 31 March 2027: the ASP deadline for businesses below AED 50 million. The demo shows how Odoo connects to an accredited ASP.
What happens in the 30-minute demo?
We spend five minutes on your business, then rebuild your own invoices in Odoo with the customer's TRN, 5% VAT and a credit note. We then show how Odoo hands e-invoices to an accredited ASP, which apps you would need, and what a project would involve. You leave knowing whether Odoo fits, and why.
- Your context (5 minutes). What you sell, how many users, your current tool and your e-invoicing deadline.
- Your invoices in Odoo (15 minutes). A standard invoice with 5% VAT, a credit note, and your trickiest case: foreign currency, a free zone customer or several VAT treatments. We also look at the document layout, in English, Arabic or both.
- The e-invoicing flow (5 minutes). What Odoo does, what the ASP does, and where the connector sits. The details are in our guide to Odoo e-invoicing in the UAE.
- Your scope and next steps (5 minutes). The apps you would actually need, such as inventory, purchasing, CRM or multi-company, and what drives the cost. See our Odoo pricing guide for the cost drivers.
What should you prepare for an Odoo demo?
Bring three sample invoices: a standard one, one with a credit note or discount, and your most unusual case. Add the list of users and their roles, the name of your current tool, your approximate revenue band and the must-haves beyond invoicing, such as stock or several companies. Ten minutes of preparation is enough.
- Three sample invoices. You can blank out customer names and amounts if you prefer; we need the structure, not the data.
- Your users and roles. For example: two in sales, one in the warehouse, an external accountant.
- Your current tool. Excel, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, an old Odoo or something else, and what frustrates you about it.
- Your revenue band. Below or above AED 50 million decides your e-invoicing deadlines.
- Your must-haves. Inventory, purchasing, CRM, manufacturing, e-commerce, multi-company, payroll.
How do you book your Odoo demo?
Fill in the short form below with your name, company, e-mail and a few words about your business. We reply to agree a time slot and to explain how to send your three sample invoices. If you prefer, use the booking or WhatsApp buttons on this page. The demo takes place in English or French.
Would you rather try Odoo on your own first?
You can. Odoo offers a free trial on odoo.com, which is the fastest way to explore the interface at your own pace. A self-service trial will not show how your own invoices, VAT settings and e-invoicing flow look once configured for the UAE; that is what a guided demo on your data is for.
Both approaches work well together: click around the trial for an hour, note your questions, then bring them to the demo. If you are still comparing tools, read our overview of Odoo in the UAE, the Odoo vs Zoho Books comparison or our guide to choosing an Odoo partner, which applies to us as much as to anyone. Frequently asked questions
What is an Odoo demo?
A guided session in which someone shows Odoo working on realistic data. A generic demo uses a sample company; ours uses three of your own invoices with UAE VAT, so you can judge the fit on your real cases rather than on a script.
Is Odoo difficult to learn?
Everyday tasks such as creating a quotation or an invoice are quick to learn. Accounting configuration, stock rules and VAT set-up need training and usually a partner. If your team comes from Excel or Tally, plan proper training before go-live.
Is there a free version of Odoo?
The Community edition is open source and free to download, but you still pay for hosting and set-up, and some apps exist only in the paid Enterprise edition. Odoo also offers a free trial on odoo.com. Check odoo.com/pricing for the current plans.
Can I see UAE e-invoicing in the demo?
Yes. We show what Odoo does, the invoice and credit note with the required data, what the accredited ASP does, Peppol delivery and reporting to the FTA, and how the two connect. Odoo's own ASP status is explained on our Odoo e-invoicing page.
What happens after the demo?
If Odoo fits, you receive a fixed quote with a written scope within 48 hours. If it does not, we tell you which option would suit you better, for example keeping your current accredited software. You decide afterwards.
